It seems really REALLY late to be posting this, but better late than never, right? Anyway, this is something I've worked on for at least a year now, colored doodles/sketches of my Pets characters from my sketchbook, and I didn't want to post this right away until I knew for sure it was finished. Since I haven't added anything to this for a while I decided it was finally done.

this being really big and all, I had a lot to say about this. For one, this was the first time I tried to color a sketch without lines (the chibi versions of the pets). I first started with Mike and Boobee and once I got the hang of it I went onto the rest of the gang. I really enjoyed doing them. Chibi Cassie had to be one of the hardest, next to Osi and Tweety.

Second, this is where I was considering changing Mike's design a little, mostly with the whiskers. Lately I haven't been sure if I should keep them or not. He is a puppy and all, so no whiskers might be good for him. What do you think?

Third, Mike's design wasn't the only one I was thinking of changing. A while ago, I noticed a lot of the characters here were brown, or almost the same shade, which felt a bit banal. So I did a quick sketch of Minxie in photoshop and gave her different shades of brown, and to be honest, I really like it.

Fourth, I also drew some characters that had nothing to do with the pets, but a few do or might; like the bug with the monocle, the white rabbit, and especially the rat character with the large eyes and nose (his design inspired by this: [link]). I'm considering adding him into the pets storyline.
